Information collection and use

EdGuru collects personally identifiable information when you use certain products or services when you visit EdGuru site pages when you register for workshops, events and participate in our surveys.

EdGuru also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, EdGuru’s cookie information and the page you requested. We use the information for three general purposes: to customize the content you and survey participants see and to fulfill your requests for certain products and services.

 We find that your actions on our website violate the EdGuru Terms of Service or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.

EdGuru will not publish, disclose, sell or rent any data collected from the surveys you participate in without your consent. If a minor has participated in a survey administered by EdGuru staff the parent or guardian of the child can request to have his/her information deleted from our database. (If you wish to have your child’s data to be deleted please contact us). Please note that this is only possible if they participated in a survey that requested their name or other identifiable data. Anonymous surveys do not collect any personal data and therefore participation in these surveys cannot be attributed to specific individuals.  Requests for consent will be collected prior to participation.

Who May Use the Website and Our Service

EdGuru does not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our Website and Our Service are not intended for children under 13 years of age. Individuals under 13 years of age are not authorized to use our Website or our Service or to provide any information on or through our Website or Service.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
